Chemically Recycled Resin: A New Material of Solution Toward a Sustainable Future
In February of 2025, FCFC officially launched chemically recycled styrene monomer (CR SM). It marking a new milestone in the development of sustainable materials. The technology uses thermal cracking and high-purification processes to convert waste polystyrene (EPS) into high-quality and low-carbon of recycled raw materials (r-SM), which are then further processed into chemically recycled PS and ABS resins.
Compared to traditional virgin plastics, chemically recycled resins not only offer consistent physical performance but also effectively reduce reliance on petrochemical resources, lower carbon emissions, and enhance the recycling efficiency of plastic waste. This innovation not only preserves product quality but also provides a material solution that balances carbon reduction, plastic reduction, and resource recycling, and provide strong support for enterprises to implement ESG and industrial sustainable transformation.
