ADVICE NOTE for ABS packaging

ADVICE NOTE

Dear Valued Customer:

Starting from November 12, 2025, imports of ABS (Acrylonitrile-Butadiene-Styrene Copolymer) products into India will no longer require BIS certification. Accordingly, Formosa Chemicals & Fibre Corporation (FCFC) will gradually change the packaging of its ABS products starting from May this year. The original packaging bags, which were printed with the BIS logo, will be replaced with new bags without the BIS logo.

Due to the gradual transition, there will be a period during which both types of packaging (with and without the BIS logo) may coexist in shipments. Once the inventory of the old packaging bags is depleted, all products will be supplied in the new woven bags. Further notice will be posted on our official website (www.fcfc-plastics.com) when the transition is complete.
